Gill Burns - the Ring Leader

I had heard so much about Gill Burns - tbh there are not many conversations around English rugby and ‘the good old days’ that don’t include her name. Seeing her work her magic with all the touring supporters during the RWC2021 was something else - but actually getting her to sit down and have a conversation proved impossible!!

Gill is far too busy ‘doing’ to be talking about what has already been ‘done’.

Her role now is very much as the ring leader of the former Red Roses - or the Vintage Red Roses as they are now to be known. Gill is always the one at the heart of every sing-a-long, every party and every celebration.

But what about THAT sign she used to walk under? The one at her local rugby club reading “ No Dogs or Women Allowed’. I will have to keep on trying to get that chat…….
